Volunteering/Participating in Spiritual Life
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
Participants are always needed the first Friday of the month for adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Sign-up sheets are posted on the bulletin board in the narthex. This is an opportunity to sit quietly in reflection and prayer in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion
There are two parts of this ministry: serving at Mass and taking communion to our homebound parishioners and Catholics in the local healthcare centers. Though the visitation calls are not a requirement, it is encouraged, as these folks have a tremendous need for the presence of Our Lord in both the Eucharist and in those who visit them. To be a Eucharistic Minister one must:
- be commissioned by the pastor
- be trained in the ministry
- be committed to the times assigned

- be trained in the ministry
- be committed to the times assigned

Music Ministry
The Music Ministry of Mary, Queen of Peace welcomes anyone who is willing to share their musical talents and make the commitment to share your gifts. Cantors, choir members and instrumentalists are all a vital part of the worship experience in our parish. No one must have musical training to participate, just a willing spirit and a dedication to work hard so that we all share in meaningful liturgical experiences. Rehearsals are on Wednesday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm in the church.
